It will rock you -- straight to sleep.. Apatow genuinely loves his hero, and the film's innate sweetness carries it through the rough patches of a funny comedy with a central relationship that isn't particularly funny.. The movie promises to rock you, and much of the time it does.. Count me among the naysayers.. The result is half Python, half Ivanhoe -- and not as much fun as either.. Take it for what it is and you'll find it quite enjoyable, especially if you're a female between 9 and, oh, 79....
